Admissions Procedure(For DAEIE and DBME only):
Students can get admission in the institution in two ways:
- Direct entry into I Year
Admission policies and procedures are governed by Department of Technical Education, AP., following all the rules and regulations prescribed by Government of Andhra Pradesh.
Admissions into SGPR, Govt Polytechnic, Kurnool are based on the ranks obtained in âPOLYCETâ, a common entrance test conducted every year by DTE/ SBTET-AP. The eligible qualification for appearing POLYCET is a pass in SSC or equivalent.
The seats left over (if any) are filled through âSpot Admissionâ duly following all the regulations prescribed by the Government of AP, at the institute level notified through a separate notification.
- Lateral entry into II year (III Semester)
Lateral entry is for
- Students who have completed relevant Intermediate Vocational Course (IVC) and have passed Bridge Course as per norms prescribed by SBTET-AP. Admissions are limited to 10 % of sanctioned intake of Diploma course. The Admissions are governed by the DTE duly following the regulations prescribed by Government of AP.
- Students who have completed relevant trade in ITI and have passed Bridge Course as per norms prescribed by SBTET-AP. Admissions are limited to 10 % of sanctioned intake of Diploma course. The Admissions are governed by the DTE duly following the regulations prescribed by Government of AP.
Admission Procedure(For Diploma in Pharmacy):
Students who want admission into Diploma in Pharmacy have to attend central web counselling conducted by SBTET-AP annually. Students get admission based on their marks they have obtained in their Intermediate course.
Fee Structure:
Fee structure is decided and revised periodically by Department of Technical Education and Training, Government of Andhra Pradesh. Current fee structure is as follows:
